Fire Extinguisher Servicing
Your fire extinguishers will need to be inspected and serviced annually by a competent person to ensure their viability in an emergency. A visit from our qualified Engineer will ensure that your equipment is maintained to BS5306 and ready for action when needed.
Our aim is to offer Service with Integrity - we only propose work that is necessary, and only carry it out with permission. Our engineers are not under pressure to achieve a certain revenue out of the service visit, unlike many well known fire companies in the UK.
Cost of servicing and what's included
Cost of a yearly service
Prices start from £25 * which covers call out charge and yearly service of the first 2 fire extinguishers (each additional fire extinguisher is £5) this includes normal yearly service parts e.g. O rings etc.
You will receive clear and honest advice. Your inspection certificate will log where each extinguisher lives and when it is due for extended maintenance. In this way you can see what your costs will be ahead of time and budget accordingly.

Extended service 5yrs 10 yrs
All fire extinguishers require what is called an extended service. Water, foam, powder, wet chemical is every five years and CO2 is every ten years.
Water, Foam and wet chemical can be serviced at the customer's site and can be carried out as part of our normal service visit the only additional cost is for the fire extinguisher refill substance and CO2 cartridges (if applicable).
CO2 and powder are replaced on a service exchange basis as these cannot be refilled at the customer's site. Your fire extinguisher will be replaced with a like for like extinguisher that has been fully refurbished and will have this years service already carried out.
