"Management are legally bound to ensure that staff are trained in what to do in the event of a fire. Employers must now nominate and train a suitable number of staff in how to use fire fighting equipment."
This 1 hour course has been specifically designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of fire safety awareness and basic fire training for all staff so they know what to do when the fire alarm sounds and also how to reduce the risk of fire starting in the first place.
This course will provide all candidates with greater fire safety awareness and is designed to increase their confidence in the action to take in case of a fire occurring.
The Fire Warden course complies with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which requires that employers provide adequate fire safety training for their staff. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be a Fire Warden in the workplace for two years.
The course will include PowerPoint presentation candidate participation in practical exercises video clips and group discussion. Also we allow trainees to operate fire extinguisher as part of this course (subject to suitable outside space). This course intended to give the candidates the skills and knowledge to identify potential risks in the workplace early and the skills to be able to carry out a fire safety tour.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss your training needs as we can tailor our training to suit your employees and business needs. Our prices are competitive with training starting from £5 per employee for our basic fire safety training course and £40 for our Fire warden training course.
